Green Themed Graduation Party: Here is your chance to celebrate green. Consider making green the theme of your graduation activities. Going solar is another eco-friendly idea for your green themed graduation party. Have your party during the time when the sun is out. Because of its growth in popularity, organic food can be found in most grocery stores. You can green your graduation party from the appetiser, through the main course, and on to desert, by offering organic food items. Do you have to have meat to eat? Understood. If your green graduation party is going to be a large venue, there are places you can rent enough dinnerware to supply all your guests. Not only is real dinnerware a great green alternative to disposable, but it will add a bit of class to your eco-party.
Recycle, recycle, recycle! Why have waste containers when you can have recycling containers at your green graduation party? If you implement the strategies above for greening your graduation party, you will have little to no waste; no paper plates, no plastic cups, no plastic utensils, even the food (organic) should be mostely compostable - very green. So, replace those trash cans with eco-friendly recycling cans, and make the most of your green graduation celebration. Now that is green!
